OSTIn signs MOU with UAE Space Agency
United Arab Emirates Space Agency and Office for Space Technology and Industry, Singapore signed a bilateral cooperation Memorandum of Understanding.

OSTIn is honoured to have signed an MOU on space cooperation with the
UAE Space Agencyon 26 February 2025, represented by Executive Director
OSTIn Jonathan Hung and Director-General UAESA HE Salem Butti Salem AlQubaisi
respectively. This momentous event was witnessed by Chairman OSTIn Mr.
Peter Ho, and Ambassador of The UAE to Singapore HE Jamal Alsuwaidi.
The MOU between UAESA and OSTIn on Cooperation in Space Research and Space
Activities for Peaceful Purposes establishes a common framework for bilateral
cooperation. It reflects our mutual interest in the field of exploration
and use of outer space for peaceful purposes.
Our potential collaborations include space science technology and applications,
promotion of space industry, and academic partnerships. This will create
new possibilities such as the recently announced partnership between ST
Engineering and EDGE to advance the UAE's synthetic aperture radar (SAR)
